About Us

Family owned and founded in 1982 Rex James Stockfeed & Fertilizer principally manufactures and distributes high quality ruminant feeds to farmer customers in Northern Victoria, Tasmania and Southern NSW.

Operating from our current state of art site since 2003 we work directly with individual customers and consultants to formulate mash feeds to precise individual requirements depending on the season, herd condition and stage of the production cycle.  Bulk product is then delivered direct to farm on our modern fleet of trucks.

Bagged feed and a range of farm merchandise is also available from our Nathalia Agstore.

Fertilizer distribution, blending and spreading services complement our feed production expertise. Supported by our technical team of a nutritionist and agronomist Rex James customers can rely on a truly integrated approach to feed management.

Rex James only uses products of the highest quality and prefers to source grains from local farmers wherever possible. We do not use animal proteins, manufacturing by-products and do not knowingly use GMO materials in our finished feeds.

Being part of the local community is also something that matters to Rex James. As well as providing local employment opportunities we undertake a number of activities that include sponsorships and donations to local events and support the development of skills in the local area by hosting farming industry workshops.
